有些軟體的視窗會超過螢幕大小。如果要將視窗超過螢幕外的部份，移到螢幕可視範圍內，可以在視窗上按住 alt 以及滑鼠左鍵，拖曳滑鼠來調整視窗位置。

Unfortunately a default 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon install on the eee does not allow the window to be dragged above the top of the screen even when holding the ALT key so this solution is incomplete for deep windows which cannot be resized. Now known to work (by author)…
A configuration change fixes the inability to drag windows above the top of the screen…
Run gconf-editor and navigate to apps/compiz/plugins/move/allscreens/options and uncheck constrain_y (thanks to cgriff for this one)
N.B. This config is for the current user so do not use sudo or it will apply to root only.
To expand the vertical workspace and reduce the need for window dragging…
Adjust the workspace to 1 column and 2 rows. To do this right click on the workspace switcher icon (brown/orange rectangle with a default postion at bottom right of screen). Once this is done providing you are working from the default top workspace an over deep window will extend into the lower workspace which can be accessed by clicking the lower workspace on the switcher icon and can be worked on from there. N.B. for the window to “hang down” into the lower workspace at least basic visual enhancements must be turned on (they are by default) - from the menus check this in system | prefs | appearance. While you are there reducing the font size may help with the small screen too.
The default top/bottom postion of the launcher panels will still overlay a portion of the window. You can either move the window down a bit before switching workspace or permanently move the launcher panels to right/left of the screen - right click/Properties in an empty portion of the panel bar or simply drag it across.
