Users have reported that you can install this the usual way via USB CD/DVD ROM drive but for some of us, we either don't have one or don't care to own one, so we fire up a bootable USB drive with the Win2k3 image on it. I tried doing this with USB_Multiboot10 and while everything copied over, I wasn't getting anywhere due to this error:
“Value 0 on the line in section [sourcedisksfiles] with key “binifix4.cmd. Setup cannot continue. to quit setup, press f3.”
The Eeeuser forum didn't have a valid solution (for me and probably others) when it came to booting with a USB drive. Solution provided.
Pre-requisites for an easy install:
CD/DVD ROM method
Well, with the CD/DVD ROM method, it's a piece of cake. Typical installation scenario from the CD.
USB_Multiboot10 method
binifix4.cmd = 100,,,,,,_x,2,0,0
undoren.cmd = 100,,,,,,_x,2,0,0
ren_fold.cmd = 100,,,,,,_x,2,0,0
binifix4.cmd = 1,,,,,,_x,2,0,0
undoren.cmd = 1,,,,,,_x,2,0,0
ren_fold.cmd = 1,,,,,,_x,2,0,0
Hope this helps as it helped me.
