The webcam was running in high exposure mode since it was the only way to get a clear screen shot, so it's low FPS and you will see some ghosting, so the sluggish feel is not really the system, it's just a sucky webcam.

• If you are dual booting, make sure you have an empty primary partition OR that you have enough free space to resize a partition (Windows 7 consumes about 10GB of disk space).
• Enable the update feature before installation (downloads latest setup files).
• Enable automatic updates after installation (new drivers come out regularly).

Installation is very simple. Just pop in the Windows 7 DVD, reboot your Eee, and press any key to start setup when prompted.

Use the preinstalled driver that was automatically installed by Windows 7.

Use the 900HA/XP Ethernet driver from the CD or from the ASUS website.

1. Uninstall your current ACPI driver if you have already tried installing it.
   
2. Extract the zip file.
3. Go to Touchpad Lock\Disk_0400B06 2008-11-07
4. Run Asus ACPI Driver.msi

• Fn+F5 (external display) not functioning.
• Plugging in an external monitor will result in a black laptop LCD or BSOD and no signal on the external display since the Fn+F5 key doesn't work.
• Using projector hotkey will result in BSOD.
• AsTray resolutions not working (800×600 works on mine, but it won't go back).
• Expect a 25% decrease in battery run time.
• EeeCTL is not compatible.
• Slower resume from hibernation (compared to XP).
