Nexuiz is a fast paced 3d deathmatch game project created online by a team of developers called Alientrap. It is available for download for Windows, Mac, and Linux (all the same archive).

And the best part is it runs perfectly on eee!!!

First I suggest if you have a 2g surf to use a SD card or USB Flash Drive.

Next Goto http://www.alientrap.org/nexuiz/

And click the download button on the left hand side.

It will automatically bring up the download box.

Download it to where you like, for me it is /home/user/games.

Then right click on the file and click extract all. Extract it on to the same place you downloaded it.

Then for me I go to /home/user/games/Nexuiz/nexuiz-linux-glx.sh (Depends on where you installed).

Then you go and kill some noobs.

Now if you have tried to play it the frame rate is around 4 or 5.

To improve the greatly here is what to do:

1.Goto settings on the main page once you have started Nexuiz.

2.Goto the effects tab and hit Low This will make it the lowest settings (Trust me you wont notice a difference. oh besides the fram rate being at around 15!)

3.There is a little check box the says cronos. Turn that off

4.Do the same with bloom

1.Right click on desktop and select new shortcut.

2.Click file

3.Type In /Where/YouInstalled/Game/Nexuiz/nexuiz-linux-glx.sh

Then when you want to play you just click it.

But to be honest the hardest part in this tutorial is choosing which weapon to use for your first kill. :)
