Mageia with KDE or LXDE on Asus Eee 701 4G

Tested Mageia 1 with both an update from Mandriva, and a full install, one with KDE and the other with LXDE, and Mageia 2 with LXDE.

Update with KDE

Updated without any problem from a Mandriva 2010.0 install.
The Mageia-KDE installation needs more than 4 Gb (as did the Mandriva-KDE one), I did the install on an 8Gb SD card.
CAUTION: The Mageia update changes the video settings to 1024×600; be sure to restore it to 800×480 in the post-install config.
All the other peripherals worked straight out of the update (a they did under Mandriva), including the camera, ethernet and Wifi.

Installed without any problem
Both the Mageia 1 and Mageia 2 LXDE install take less than 2 Gb, fit comfortably on the internal storage.
