Mapping Keyboard Shortcuts in Advanced Mode

In Advanced Mode, you may no longer have the keyboard shortcuts from which you benefited in Easy mode. You can restore these (individually), and create your own shortcuts, through use of the Control Centre GUI:

Launch → Control Centre → Control Centre, and select General Settings → Key Assignments

Mapping an application to a key combination:

To map an application to a key combination, select the middle tab in Keyboard Shortcuts, called Command Shortcuts, and navigate to the desired application through the tree menu, and map your chosen combination.

Example: mapping Ctl+Alt+t to launch terminal:

For example, to remap Ctl+Alt+t to launch terminal, you would select the middle tab in Keyboard Shortcuts, called Command Shortcuts, and drop down to Applications → System → Console and map Ctl+Alt+t
