Yesterday, I installed Windows Vista on the second partition of the hard drive. I spent all the day installing it with all the functions, and because the lack of information, it took a lot of time searching it
Now, I make this guide to summarize the Windows Vista installation on the EeePC 1000H
There are the steps:
1: Install Windows Vista (I installed it on the second partition). I used the Xbox 360 HD-DVD unit (for the installation an external USB DVD reader is needed).
2: This is the order for installing the drivers:
a.- Install the Wi-Fi driver: http://www.ralinktech.com.tw/data/drivers/IS_AP_STA_6x_D-1.2.3.0_VA-2.1.0.0_2500_D-3.2.0.0_VA-3.2.0.0_RU-2.0.4.0_VA-2.0.4.0_AU-1.2.1.0_VA-1.0.4.0_101707_0.1.0.29.exe
b.- Install the lastest Intel Graphics driver for activate Aero and Glass: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/download.aspx?url=/16312/a08/winvista_1583.exe&agr=N&ProductID=2301&DwnldId=16312&strOSs=All&OSFullName=All+Operating+Systems&lang=eng
c.- Install SuperHybridEngine from the CD using Setup.exe on the SuperHybridEngine folder.
d.- Install EEEInstantKey from the CD using Setup.exe on the EEEInstantKey folder
e.- Install ACPI Driver from the CD using Setup.exe on the ACPI folder.
f.- Install ACPI patch: https://strcmp.org/acpifix.xhtml
g.- Install sound driver from the CD using Setup.exe on the Sound Driver folder to enable the Realtek Control Panel
Now, you have the 1000H with almost all of functions than in XP

Ayer instalé Windows Vista en la 2ª partición del disco duro.Tardé todo el dia en instalarlo con todas sus funciones, y por culpa de el desorden y estar en un idioma extranjero me llevó bastante tiempo
Ahora, hago esta guía para instalar el Windows Vista en el EeePC 1000H y que tengais todo bien facil para instalarlo completamente
Estos son los pasos:
1: Instala Windows Vista (yo lo he instalado en la 2ª partición). Yo usé la unidad HD-DVD externa de la Xbox 360, pero para los que no la tengan, hace falta un lector externo USB de DVD
2: Este es el orden para instalar los drivers:

b.- Instala los últimos drivers de gráficos de Intel para activar Aero y Glass: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/download.aspx?url=/16312/a08/winvista_1583.exe&agr=N&ProductID=2301&DwnldId=16312&strOSs=All&OSFullName=All+Operating+Systems&lang=eng
c.- Instala el SuperHybridEngine que contiene el CD usando el archivo Setup.exe en la carpeta SuperHybridEngine
d.- Instala EEEInstantKey desde el CD usando el archivo Setup.exe
e.- Instala el driver ACPI desde el CD usando el archivo Setup.exe en la carpeta ACPI.
f.- Instala el parche para el driver ACPI : https://strcmp.org/acpifix.xhtml
g.- Instala el driver del sonido desde el CD usando el archivo Setup.exe para activar el Panel de Control de Realtek
Ahora, ya tienes tu EeePC 1000H con casi todas las funciones que tiene en XP
