Installing FrostWire for P2P Downloading

Download the Ubuntu/Debian package and save this to 'My Documents'.
Open a terminal window: (Ctrl+Alt+t)
Change to the My Documents directory:
cd My\ Documents/
Type the following to install:
sudo dpkg -i frost*
You can now launch the application by typing frostwire at the terminal window.

Some tips from JerryF:
I had trouble getting to “cd My documents”. Yes, that's what it shows on my screen, but you actually have to type it just like it shows above. “My\ Documents/”. I looked at that and said “that's a typo”. It is not. I guess convention would be to avoid spaces in file names, or use the underscore.
Use the tab key when entering at the CLI of shell or terminal. When you're not sure of the spelling hit the <tab> key. It was my saving grace to find this “My\ Documents”.
To get a connection in FrostWire I had to open the ports for Gnutella in my router. But it worked really well.
