• If you don't get an answer right away, please be patient. Not everyone is paying attention at all times, and not everyone may know the answer to your question.

Depending on your needs, there are many factors which you may be interested in. Whether it's battery life or bluetooth you're looking for, this page will clarify the differences between models immensely.

This question is asked quite a bit in #eeepc. We recommend that, unless you know what you're doing, you don't run BackTrack3 as your main operating system. Don't install it, period. If you did know what you were doing, you wouldn't be asking how to install it. It's not that we don't want to help you, but most of us don't actually use BT3, and the help is ongoing - past the install, the questions then become “how do I install X package?”
