Info: IceWM Start Menu Templates

Here is new menu file for IceWM that includes all the existing applications in their orig. menu structure as per the tabs. Thought it would be a good starting point for a bit of editing:

Now replaced with version 2.0 as syntax errors were stopping it loading in “icemc”.

Here is another line I have added to the top of my menu, it launches File Manager at the ”/” folder giving you access to all sorts or dangerous things (but with no root privilages to change anything).

And this is the one that will start file manager as a superuser with full root privilages, best not to add this unless you know what you are doing as editing or deleting the wrong file could result in your machine not booting.

Other applications you may want to add:

xcalc (for an alternative calculator)
xmag (for a magnifier)
xclock (for a clock)
bitmap (I think it's an icon editor looks like one anyway)
kcharselect (you will like that one if you're a windows user)
kalarm (reminder message scheduler)
oclock (another clock)
krfb (desktop sharing)
konqueror (The definitive KDE Web Browser / File manager, prob not put on the desktop by Asus as it was considered too complicated)
ksysguard (Performance Monitor, CPU, RAM etc.)
kate (advanced text editor)
kwrite (text editor)
akregator (RSS fead reader)
konsole (a terminal with menus cut,copy,paste etc.)
karm (time tracker tool)
khexedit (hexidecimal editor)
kolourpaint (MS Paint clone)
