I am attempting to load an application, Visual Molecular Dynamics (VMD), onto my 901 eee-Xandros(the operating system that comes with it). All seems fine until I ask it to “make install”. Even then all goes well until the process is almost complete, but the memory space allocated for /usr/local/lib fills up. The 901 seems to come with that area 98% full. The VMD requires about 15 MB of space for its own libraries, which is a tad more than the 13 MB of free space that is there. Is there an easy way to reallocate the existing storage space to get, say 20 MB more available for /usr/local/lib?
