Questo sito internet non ufficiale è stato creato venerdì 8 Giugno 2007 da ant per raccogliere informazioni sull'EeePC di Asus. L'EeePC è una linea di computer ultraportatili (UMPC) a basso costo creata da ASUS Computer Inc. verso la fine del 2007. Il progetto degli EeePc segue la filosofia che ASUS ha soprannominato “delle tre E”: “Easy to learn, Easy to work, and Easy to play” (Facile per apprendere, Facile per lavorare, Facile per giocare).

Il sito EeeUser.com si articola in tre parti, il Blog o l'Homepage, il Forum e questo, il Wiki.

Per contribuire a questa comunità devi eseguire iscrizioni separate per la varie parti, ma è altamente desiderabile utilizzare lo stesso nickname per tutte le sezioni.

Ricerca!

Sei particolarmente incoraggiato ad eseguire delle ricerche nel Forum e nel Wiki prima di porre domande su argomenti che sono già stati trattati numerose volte in passato. Per i nuovi utente, la ricerca personalizzata di eeeuser con Google (presente nella Homepage) è particolarmente utile in quanto esegue le ricerche in tutte le tre parti del sito. Essa ha anche funzionalità utili per tutti gli utenti, ad esempio per cercare la soluzione ad un problema basterà incollare e ricercare il messaggio di errore restituito. La ricerca accetta anche termini lunghi solo due caratteri, come F9. In aggiunta, ci sono preferenze di ricerca specifiche, come la Ricerca nel Forum e la ricerca Wiki in cima ad ogni pagina del Wiki.

Nuovo su Eee PC?
