====== Changing keyboard layout ====== By default you may find that the keyboard layout that the eee expects is not what appears on your keyboard. At first you probably won't notice much of a difference until you want to type **@**, **|** or **£** or and you find that a different character appears. ===== In Easy Mode ===== In Easy Mode, you change the Keyboard in the **Settings** tab, by clicking on the **Personalization** icon. Select the appropriate layout under **Keyboard layout:**. ==== Keyboard Shortcuts in Easy Mode ==== See [[http://wiki.eeeuser.com/mappingkeyboardshortcuts|Mapping Keyboard Shortcuts in Easy Mode]] ===== In Advanced Mode ===== In Advanced Mode the default keyboard layout is set to the US.
